Tsetserleg is a sum (district) of Khuvsgul  province in Mongolia. In 1931, Tsetserleg soum was established under the khoshuu of Delgerkhan mountain range.
Soum of Khuvsgul province. The total area of 7,480 km², 6,040 km² of pasture and 1,340 km² of forest. The Tsetserleg soum had 5,876 inhabitants, most of which are the Eastern tribes. 

One of the largest monasteries in northern Mongolia was established in 1717 in the vicinity of the soum center. Tes Khuree consists of 1,500 lamas, 6 aimags, 16 temples and 29 dugans. The Tesiin Ranges were destroyed in the late 1930s.
