Tsagaan-Uul

Tsagaan-Uul is a sum (district) of Khuvsgul  province in Mongolia. In 1931, Khuvsgul aimag was established as Tsagaan-Uul soum was.

Tsagaan-Uul soum is located in the administrative zone of Jargalant, Sharga, Toson, Uvgud, Khujirt and Agar with 6 bags of land, 5866.3 km2 and 138 km of aimag center Mönhön and 840 km from Ulaanbaatar. The region is located in the tourist region and of 1729-2613 meters above sea level. One of Mongolia's largest soums, with a population of 5299 and 1500 households.

Tsagaan-Uul is bordered by Arbulag, Burentogtokh, Bayanzurkh, Tsetserleg and Zavkhan soums of their respective provinces. 539.8 thousand hectares of land are pasture land, 78934 hectares is forest land, 2221 hectares hayfields and 3 hectares of land. 55.1 thousand ha of forest.
