Rashaant is a sum (district) of Khuvsgul  province in Mongolia. Rashaant soum was established in 1923, former Mergen Gun’s khoshuu of Sain Noyon Khan. 3682 people live in 1049 households. Total land area is 198.2 thousand ha. In the southeastern part of Khuvsgul aimag:

  • 520 km from Ulaanbaatar
  • t is located 154 km from the aimag center.

In the south, it is located in the Bulgan province of Bayan-Agtsa and Tsetserleg in Arkhangai province and on the other side of the Selenga river basin boundary between Tumurbulag, Tosontsengel and Ikh-Uul soums of Tov province.

It has a tropical climate with a temperate climate of 1,200 m above sea level, with mountains, hills, and hills. Suitable for livestock and crop production. In winter the temperature is 26-32 degrees Celsius, in the summer 30-35 degrees in winter, 28,6 mm in winter and in summer 193.4 mm in precipitation.
