Numrug is a sum of Zavkhan Province in western Mongolia. Numrug soum was established in 1923, formerly known as Tsogtoo banner in the province of Zushan Khan.

The Numrug sum is a beautifully landscaped area with a unique natural setting and the Khangai Gobi. The sum is 3277 km², with the population of 1814 in 2014. The inhabitants of the hills are large. Adding temperature to 35, minus 50 degrees, with extreme continental climate.
In the northern part of Zavkhan aimag:

  • 970 km from Ulaanbaatar,
  • 152 km from the aimag center.

Borders with Tudevai, Bayankhairkhan, Telmen and Yaruu of Zavkhan province and Tsetserleg soum of Khuvsgul province.
