Altanbulag  is a sum of Tuv Province in Mongolia. Established in 1923, under the name of Gun soum, formerly Darkhan Khoshoi Chin Van Puntsagtseren’s khoshuu of Tusheet khan province. In 1924, as Bayandelger mountain, soum was named. 2996 people, with a total of 532 households. 2,200 km².

The sum is located in the southern part of the Khan uset mountain, with its south-west of Tuv aimag called Bayanjargalan soum, with south-western Arvass soum, Erdene soum with its west, Mungunmorit soum with its north east, Baganuur district with its east and Tsenkhermandal soum of Khentii aimag. It is 101 km from Ulaan Baatar, 108 km from Zuunmod and 26 km from Baganuur.
