Zaamar is a sum of Tuv Province in Mongolia. On the 19th of 1923, members of People's Government issued a Zaamar soum from Sazan Bureg Mountain’s khoshuu of Bogd Khan Uul province. 1563 households, 5345 people, and 193631 heads.

The soum is located 180 km from Ulaanbaatar and 225 km from its aimag. Ugtaal, Tseel and Lun soums of Tuv province Baga Nuur, Bulgan and Bulgan provinces bordering the Orkhon soum of Selenge aimag, totaling 280.3 thousand hectares
