Tsetseg

Tsetseg is a sum (district) of Khovd Province in western of Mongolia. Founded in 1924. The soum is located in Darkhan Beil’s khoshuu of Zasagt Khan province during the Manchu period, and is one of the three Khalkh Soum of Hovd province. Total land area is 349199.00 hectares.
Tsetseg soum is located in the southwest of Khovd province:

• 1335 km from Ulaanbaatar
• It is located 225 km from the aimag center

It is bordered by Must, Altai, Darvi, Zereg soums and Tonkhil soum of Gobi-Altai aimag. It has a cool summer and a cold winter
