Chandmani

Chandmani  is a sum (district) of Khovd Province in western of Mongolia. In 1923 Chandmani sum was founded. The soum has 714 households, 2888 and 179913 livestock.  The Chandmani sum is the Khalkh ethnic group.
About 60 percent of the total territory is protected. The eastern part is Durgun and Khar-Us lake, and the west is surrounded by hills and Gobi, surrounded by Jargalant and Bumbat khairkhans.
