Bayangol

Bayangol  is a sum (district) of Uvurkhangai Province in southern Mongolia. Bayangol sum  was founded in 1924 and is formerly of Uizen Van and Sain Noyon khan. 3941 people live in 1141 households. Total land area is 354257.0 hectares.
In the south of Uvurkhangai province:

• • It is located 80 km from the aimag center.

Bayangol is located in Saikhan-Ovoo sum of Dundgovi aimag and its provinces, Zuunbayan-Ulaan, Sant, Tugrug, Taragt and sums.
Stony hills and steep terraces are passing through 70 km of Ongi river along the countryside. The sums are well-positioned for hills and steep terraces, livestock breeding and crop farming. It has a hot summer, cold and harsh winter.
