Ugiinuur is a sum (district) of Arkhangai Province in central Mongolia. Ugiinuur soum was founded in 1952. Total of 938 households and 3073 people. Total area is 1686 km2.

Located in the southeastern part of Arkhangai aimag. The soum borders with  Arkhangai aimag's Khashaat, Khotont, Tovshruulekh, Battsengel, Ulziit, Bulgan aimag's Mogod and Gurvanbulag soums.

It is located 1300-1665 m above sea level. Physical geography is included in the Khangai Mountain's mountain range and geomorphology in the Orkhon-Selenge region of the mountain range. Earthquake intensity 6-9. Mostly steppe or hilly terrain which is suitable for livestock and crop farming.
