Erdenemandal

Erdenemandal is a sum (district) of Arkhangai Province in central Mongolia. The total area is 3400 km². The soum has a total population of 5'933.  There are 341'418 heads of livestock. Itis surrounded by six soums called Jargaant, Tsetserleg, Khairkhan, Battsengel, Ikhtamir and Undur-Ulaang.

The historical sites of this region includes the Urt's deer statue and the ruins of the Khar Khul which are all the periods from the Khunnu period to the present day.

Erdenemandal sum is located:

• 170 km from the aimag center.
