Tsenkher is a sum (district) of Arkhangai Province in central Mongolia. Founded in 1931. Tsenkher soum is located in the Khangai mountainous region and located in the Orkhon and Tamir valley from the north part it is Erdenebulgan and Batsengel soums in the north Erdenetsogt soum of Bayankhongor aimag, from south Bat-Ulzii and Burd sums of Uvurkhangai aimag and in the east it borders with Tuvshruulekh and Khotont soum.

The territory is 3'200 km2 hectares.The population of Tsenher sum is 5387. It has 152,543 heads of livestock.

Tsenkher sum is located:

  • 27 km from the aimag center.
