Tsagaankhairkhan

Tsagaankhairkhan is a sum that is located in the western part of Uvs province. It was cut off from the Khankhukhiin mountain khoshuu of Khantaishir Mountain Province and was named in 1931 by one soum of Uvs province. In 1959, the Turgen and Khyargas soum was left with administrative unit in Tsagaankhairkhan soum

399.4 thousand hectares, Khyargas, Zuungovi, Baruunturuun, Undurkhangai, Zavkhan soums, and Urgamal soum of Zavkhan Province, which extend to Khankhukhii range. It is 1350 km from Ulaanbaatar and 235 km from Ulaangom.

The population  is 1950. The total area is 399.4 thousand ha, of which 329.3 thousand grazing land hectare, hay field 412.8 hectares and farmland 33 hectares
