Khushaat is a sum (district) of Selenge Province in northern Mongolia.  Founded in 1931. The sum has a total area of 201,100 hectares, with a population of 1,809 people and a total area of 22,000 hectares of land with 32,998 heads of livestock and agriculture, vegetable and animal husbandry. The center is 290 km from Ulaanbaatar and 98 km from Sukhbaatar. 2.5 thousand sq.km land, 1.5 thousand people and 20 thousand livestock. The Buren spine branch is Ridge / 1566 m /, Тойло, Bayanzurkh / 1534 m /, Khurkhaan / 1420 m /, Shar khad / 1234 m /, Mountains.

Most of the locals are located in the Orkhon and Selenge valley. Selenge, Orkhon, Arklabel, Milk, Curtain, and Watershed. It has black dirt, meadow, sandy soil, and some of the land has a salt marsh. Rich in animals, fish, birds, fruits and plants.
