Khurmen

Khurmen    is a sum (district) of Umnugovi Province in southern Mongolia. Khurmen soum was established in November 1923. It is located at the Tsagaannuur water site on the Gurvan Us Mountain of Umnugovi province, located 612 km from Ulaanbaatar and 58 km from the province center. It has a territory of 12.6 sq. Km. Sums with Khankhongor, Nomgon and Bayandalai soums of Umnugovi province and 105 km south of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
The territory of this sum is located on the north-south side of 225 square kilometers. 1,965 people are alive.
