Khanbogd

Khanbogd is a sum (district) of Umnugovi Province in southern Mongolia. The Oyu Tolgoi copper mine is located 40 km west of the sum center and the copper mine in the sum will be commissioned by the Oyu Tolgoi project. 650 km from Ulaanbaatar, 250 km from the Umnugovi aimag center. The Galbyn Gobi is located in the territory of Mongolia. Galbian red camels increase.

It has a local airport. Air passes through the capital Ulaanbaatar.
