Buyant

Buyant is a sum (district) of Bayan-Ulgii Province in western Mongolia. Buyant soum of Bayan-Ulgii province was founded in 1942 and was formerly Altainkhan’s khoshuu. A total of 2438 people live in 647 households.

Bordered by Bayangol, Altai, Bugat, Sagsai and Tolbo soums. Up to 2500-3000 m above sea level. Physical geography is included in Altai mountain range and high mountain zone.

Buyant sum is located:
