Altantsugts

Altantsugts  is a sum (district) of Bayan-Ulgii Province in western Mongolia. Altantsugts soum was established in 1925. There are 2,738 people living in 713 households from four baghs - Khash, Bayanbulag, Ulaankhargana and Tsagaantunge. It is elevated 1415-4208m above sea level. It borders Nogoonnuur, Bayannuur, Tolbo, Bugat and Erdeneburen soum of Khovd province. Total land area is 178610 hectares.

In the eastern part of Bayan-Olgii province:

• It is located 45 km from the province center.
