Bayannuur

Bayannuur is a sum (district) of Bayan-Ulgii Province in western Mongolia. Bayannuur soum  was established in 1938. 4623 people live in 959 households of Tsetseg, Bayannuur, Tsagaan-Aral, Shar Sekhee and Tsul Ulaan in the western part of the sea above 4000-4200 m above sea level. It is bordered by Tolbo, Altantsugts, Erdene and Khovd of Khovd aimag, and Umnugobi soum of Uvs province. Total land area is 233950 hectares.
