Ulziit

Ulziit  is a sum (district) of Dundgovi Province in central Mongolia. Founded in 1961. About 2806 people. The soums are located in the north, Khuld, Luus, Saintsagaan, and Gurvansaikhan in the east, Undurshil and Mandah soums in Dornogovi and in the south, Manlai, Tsogttsetsii and Tsogt-Ovoo soums of Umnugobi aimag.  The sum is 220 km to the east from the east to the west, 160 km to the north and 1542.1 thousand hectares.

87 percent of the soum territory occupies areas of low mountains, slopes, ridges and valleys. According to the survey, sand dunes or migration bare sand covers 4.3 thousand hectares.
