Tseel is a sum (district) of Govi-Altai Aimag (province) in western Mongolia. Tseel soum was founded in 1924 as Burenjargal soum. Since 1931, Telsu sum was named 2113 people. The sum is 160 km from Altai city, 1160 km from Ulaanbaatar, and Tsogt to Mongol Altai mountain range, north to Tsogt, Altai to south and Tugrug soum to the west.
