Saikhan is a sum (district) of Bulgan Province in northern Mongolia. Saikhan soum was first established in August 1924 in the Bulgan Khan Mountain Province of Bogd Khan Uul Province. In the forest steppe area, there is a territory of 2773 km. It is located at an altitude of 1500 to 8080m above sea level. In July, temperatures dropped to +35C, January -39C, and annual precipitation ranged from 300 to 4700 mm. In normal years there is a +180 in summer and a winter climate with a temperature of -230 temperature fluctuations.
