Bayannuur

Bayanuur is a sum (district) of Bulgan Province in northern Mongolia. Bayanuur soum was established in 1979. It has a population of 1,724 and covers 960.07 km². It is bordered by 180 km to the east from Bulgan province center, along the border of Zaamar, Erdenesant, Lun, Undurshireet, Tuv province and Dashinchilen soums of Bulgan aimag with distance of 190 km to the west of Ulaanbaatar.
