Erdenetsagaan  is a sum (district) of Sukhbaatar Province in eastern Mongolia. In April 1924, the State Council was founded by the name of Erdenetsagaan Mountain. To the south-east of the province, 17.3 thousand square km land.

The area includes the steppe zone. Khongory river gold, Chonel tungsten, Nukht molybdenum and Bayantsogt coal deposit. The center of the sum is the Wolf River.  4639 population. Khalkha, dads, raiders, and savages live.
