Orkhon

Orkhon is the third largest city in Mongolia and the capital of Darkhan-Uul Aimag (Darkhan-Uul Province). Established in 1968 on the old fruit and vegetable farms.  Orkhon soum has a total area of 47.8 thousand hectares, has 3076 people, has 33,5 thousand heads of livestock, has 300 bees, and is most suitable for farming. brown soil, cultivation of potatoes and vegetables in 1300 hectares, and engineering irrigation systems of Sharyn river and Burundtolgoi irrigation systems with capacity to water about 800 hectares.
