Hunting with Golden Eagle is one of the most unique features of the Kazakh life. All visitors and photographers can experience while traveling in Mongolia. The Eagle Festival is held during the first weekend in October. On this photographic expedition you will capture the untouched virgin landscape, snow-capped Altai Mountains of Mongolia, great glaciers, magnificent lakes, white water rivers, wildlife, multi-ethnic diversity, and famous Golden Eagle Festival. During the two days festival, you have the chance to get thousands of amazing images of trained Eagles. Eagles used to live and make their nest normally on high and colder areas of Altai mountains. Height of Eagles up to 95 cm, wingspan from 180 cm to 220 cm, weight 4-6kg. The plumage is of the same kind, dark-brown, nape and neck-golden red, young individuals have white, with a wide black stripe on the end, tail, and lower part of a wing- with large white spots. Golden Eagle lives about 100 years in natural conditions. Eats: in mountains-marmots (different kinds of small birds), ulars (different kinds of small birds), ravens and gophers; in deserts-sandpiper, rabbits, partridges, hazel grouses, turtles, snakes and etc
