The Museum of Dundgobi aimag was established in 1949 with twenty types of grass and herb exhibitions. But currently this museum has 4500 exhibits related to ancient, historical, ethnographical, religious, wild life and natural resources of the aimag. 

Our museum has about 800 rare findings related to 8th centuries BC / Before Christ/ of the bronze age. This is the most rich collection of that age compare to other aimags’ museum. 
There are 45 pieces animal shaped bronze, 40 pieces bronze accessories, 400 pieces bronze arrows, 50 pieces bronze knives, 150 pieces bronze buckles and 120 pieces of utility items.
