CHINGUNJAV STATUE AND MEMORIAL

Bandiin Chingunjav (1710-1758), the Shadar Wang of the Khotogoid ,  was the nobleman in northern Mongolia who  led an ill-fated anti-Manchu revolt of 1755-1758.  On the occasion of  his 300th anniversary this 10 meter-tall, 5 tons of brozen tribute to a freedom figher brutally executed by “Khotogoid  Chingunjav ” foundation and was unveiled in 2010. This statue was designed by artist Sh.Tengisbold  and made by “ Mongol uran tsutguur ” LLC , director D.Erdenebileg .
