  • Golden Eagle Hunter Family Visit: A cultural homestay or visit with an authentic Kazakh eagle hunter family safeguarding a centuries-old tradition passed down through generations. Includes immersive educational discussions regarding the ancient methods of taming, training, and hunting with golden eagles.
  • Golden Eagle Photography Session: An opportunity to experience holding a magnificent golden eagle on the arm for close-up photographs. Includes the use of traditional thick leather protective gloves (Biyalai) and guided interaction with the bird.
  • Kazakh Nomadic Culture & Craftsmanship: An educational program demonstrating the unique daily life, hospitality, and heritage of the Kazakh nomads in Western Mongolia. Includes detailed demonstrations of Kazakh ger (yurt) architecture, the creation of traditional embroidered felt carpets (Syrmak), livestock milking, and local dairy processing.
  • Traditional Kazakh Equestrian Games: A private live demonstration showcasing the speed, strength, and agility of local horsemen. Featured games include Kokpar (goat skin tug-of-war on horseback), Kyz Kuu (a traditional, playful courtship horse chase), and Tenge Ilu (grabbing coins from the ground at a full gallop).
  • Wildlife Observation Exploration: Guided tracking and spotting of rare wildlife species hidden within the steep cliffs of Mt. Tsambagarav and the Altai range. Features opportunities to observe and photograph Siberian Ibex, Argali wild sheep, and high-altitude birds of prey using professional spotting scopes.
  • Mount Tsambagarav Alpine Trail: An iconic trekking and riding route traversing the valleys and foothills of the glacier-capped Mt. Tsambagarav (elevations exceeding 4,000 meters). Includes professional guiding along alpine meadows, fast-flowing mountain rivers, and access to panoramic photography viewpoints.

2. Accommodation and Gastronomy

  • Accommodation: Stay in traditional, authentic Kazakh gers (yurts) equipped with comfortable, national-style bedding. Each guest ger features a maximum capacity of 3 beds.
  • Gastronomy & Dining: Features authentic Kazakh cuisine, including Kazakh Beshbarmak (a traditional honored feast of cured horse meat and handmade noodles), fresh mutton, traditional baursak pastries, and milk tea. Vegetarian or specific dietary requirements can be accommodated upon advanced request. Breakfast is fully complimentary and included in the daily lodging rate.

3. Standard Rates and Pricing Structure

  • Ger Lodging: $55 USD per night / per ger (3-bed capacity, breakfast included).
  • Horse Riding Services: $60 USD per person / per day (Includes horse rental and professional local horse guide fees).
  • Private Field Chef (Optional): 150,000 MNT per day (~$44 USD). Highly recommended for customized culinary operations during field expeditions.
  • Professional Guide: Foreign language guiding services are available upon request as an optional add-on.

4. Transportation and Logistical Limitations

  • Airport Transfers: Private vehicle pick-up and drop-off services are provided directly from the local airport in Olgii city (ULG) to the camp/field location.
  • Vehicle Pricing: Logistics fees are calculated based strictly on vehicle operations, driver services, and fuel costs rather than a per-person rate, and are negotiated separately based on the route.
  • Transportation Limitations: Please note that there are no intercity public bus services operating from major hubs directly to this remote destination. Due to the absence of public transport and the rugged geographical terrain, independent travel to the site is highly challenging and not recommended without a pre-arranged private vehicle.
