Bayartsogt
Meet Bayartsogt, a spirited herder from Adaatsag, Dundgobi, who runs a cozy ger camp with his wife and daughter. Their family welcomes travelers with warm hospitality, home-style meals, and a front-row seat to real nomadic life.
On any given day you might see horses, sheep, goats, and cattle grazing nearby—and when evening falls, the camp lights up: Bayartsogt, a rock-music lover and drummer of 50 years, puts on a lively night rock performance that gets everyone smiling under the desert stars.
Hosting travelers since 2005, this is a place where you can visit a genuine herder household, learn about daily life, meet the animals up close, and wind down with music, stories, and the wide-open Gobi sky. A true rock herder with a big heart and bigger rhythm.
