Ganbold
About this place
My name is Ganbold. I am a nomadic herder living with my wife and four children in Soyo bag, Ulaan-Uul soum, located in the pristine northern region of Khuvsgul province, Mongolia.
Our family raises over a thousand livestock, including cows, sheep, goats, and horses. We warmly invite you to experience the traditional Mongolian nomadic lifestyle firsthand. You will be welcomed either in Ulaan-Uul or Murun, from where we will escort you to our home on horseback—a journey through stunning taiga landscapes.
During your stay, you can enjoy:
Horseback riding in the mountains and taiga
Milking cows and processing traditional dairy products (like aaruul, yogurt, and butter)
Learning about animal husbandry and nomadic customs
Home-cooked Mongolian meals prepared by my wife
Relaxing in a peaceful natural environment, far from the city
Our family takes great pride in our culture and way of life, and we are happy to share it with curious travelers. We offer a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and an unforgettable cultural experience.
We look forward to hosting you!
