Experience Authentic Nomadic Life with a Local Family

​Immerse yourself in the traditional Mongolian nomadic lifestyle by staying with our family in the countryside!

​You will stay in a separate ger next to ours, share traditional meals, and experience daily life on the steppe. You are welcome to observe or participate in seasonal tasks—such as guiding sheep and goats to pasture, or milking cows, yaks, and mares. Between activities, enjoy the serenity of nature with a walk to the nearby river.

​Pricing & Inclusions

• ​Daily Rate: 32 dollar, per person per night (Includes your stay in a ger and all daily meals).
• ​Vegetarian Option: Available for an additional 12,500 MNT per day.

How to Reach Us (Public Bus - Summer Schedule)

• ​Departure: From the Dragon Bus Terminal (Ulaanbaatar) to Khujirt.
• ​Schedule: Daily at 14:00, except on Saturdays.
• ​Bus Ticket: Approximately 47,000 MNT one-way.
• ​Transfers: Our family will pick you up from Khujirt upon arrival and drive you back for your return bus. This local transfer is included in your nightly rate.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The bus arrives in Khujirt around 21:00, so there is limited interaction with the family on your first evening. On your departure day, you will leave the camp at 11:30 to ensure you catch the bus back to Ulaanbaatar.

Optional Activities

• ​Horseback Riding (Local area): 42,000 MNT.
• ​Excursions: We offer car or horse-trekking tours to Tövkhön Monastery (2-day trek) or the Orkhon Waterfall (5-day trek).

Tour prices depend on group size. Please contact us before booking if you are interested in multi-day horse trekking, and I will send you the itinerary.
