The most popular festival of the Mongolia is the White Month since our ancestors. In 1206, after declaring the Great Mongolia, Chinggis Khan decided to celebrate the Wind Month in the very first day of the spring when people start their livestock works. Before that, Mongolians celebrate this festival in autumn as the Farm Products Day.
The main reason to celebrate that is for families who have to know each other well.

In the first day of the Lunar Year, people have to prepare all the good things for the guests and make the traditional greetings there. The White Month eve is called “Bituun” and the celebrations have to be started in Rabbit hour. And the main decorations of the table are cookies and cheese.
- Greeting culture
It starts from to hand a khadag for the elder or honorary people first. A head of the khadag has to direct to the person who deserves while handing it upon the his or her hands. Folding up khadag from the left to right is for the signs of the khadag or the heads of letters have to be exact right place to see. While giving the khadag, you must not tell the greetings. Instead, after handing that, you have to say lyrical greeting words.
- About the Farming Products
Mongolians prepare two kinds of meals-white and brown. Brown products include the whole meat, buuz and bansh, and milk vodka. White products or farming products include all kinds of farming products, cookies and airag. it is not the same in all the different territories to decorate the cookie table which include at most 81 traditional cookies divided at least three levels. Three levels of cookies mean the basis of the heart and happy-sad-happy things while five levels stand for five organisms and having different levels is the meaning of how many generations they greet.

An uuts is the term of a hip which stands for the six ribs and its tail including backbone or neck, dal and others. The tradition to service to a guest starts from the uuts which having the “durvun undur” in the right and the backbone, dal, maya directing opposite to the guest. If place the neck instead of the backbone, it should direct to the “hartsaga” which will direct to the visitor. While rubbing the uuts by the right hand and support it by the left hand, cut between the uuts and tale and then “hartsaga” 3 times. After that nick the top of the tail as a circle twice.
