To ride a horse

The origin of the horse
The Hunnu Empire used the horse for conquering, structuring, making a peace, connecting each other, looking after the stocks, moving, since they found a wild horse which is the origin of the horse around 6000 years ago. So it is impossible to imagine the world of Mongolian without the horse.
The Khazaar, nogt, emeel, tashuur, chudur are used when you ride a horse. Khazaar and nogt are for directing and toeing a horse.
Tsulbuur
Tsulbuur is for shackling the horse as toeing and directing her. Joloo and tsulbuur has to be single handed.
The horse is driven by the direction you pull it because the joloo is the tie connecting to the two sides of horse bit. If you pull both, she will stop.
The warning for riding horse:

  • Do not wear any clothes which may cause loud noises or be too colorful
  • The high heels or short gaiter boots is not recommended
  • It is good if you wear high gaiter boots.
  • After emeel is settled, you have to ride from left side having no sudden movement and start from place your tiptoe of the left foot on the duroo (foot lever)
  •  A third of your tiptoe will be in duroo
  • To rid the joloo in the direction you want to go
  • After sit on the horse, you have to fold tsulbuur first and carry it but please not to muzzle your arm
  • To avoid from making a loud noise and sudden movement, or taking a photo
