Uuld is one of the Oirad provinces. Some believe that the term of uuld is from the long time evolution of Oirad, but some think it is from the name of Iludei. Tsors are the origin of the Uulds. They were under Tsors province of Zuungar Kingdom and defeated by Manchu after the conflicts of 1755-1758. The Uuld who were following Galdan Boshgit of Zuungar Kingdom are now living in Ulziit, Khotont, and Ugiinuur soums, Erdeneburen soum of Khovd province and Inner Mongolia of Republic of China.
