Hero Of Labor Damdiny Davaajav Statue

The statue commemorating the first holder of Hero of Labor distinction, the veteran miner Damdiny Davaajav, was erected in 2000 by the design of sculptor L.Bold. The highest national peace-time distinction, the title of Hero of Labor was introduced in 1956 and a year later D.Davaajav became its first recipient.

Location: 2nd khoroo, Nalaikh District Custody: Protection by Nalaikh District, per Decree No. 357 of the Governor of Capital Municipality (2008)
