Route, day by day
- 1Day 1
Ulaanbaatar – Mandalgovi – Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa) /464 km/
• 07:00 We will pick you up at your hotel and we'll heading to Gobi desert • Have breakfast in the open air after traveling more than 100 km from Ulaanbaatar. • Arrive in the capital of Dundgovi province, Mandalgovi, and have lunch at a restaurant. • Depart for Tsagaan Suvarga located 180 km from the provincial center. The journey involves 150 km of paved road and 30 km of dirt road. • Tsagaan Suvarga, one of the Seven Wonders of Dundgovi province, is a stunning rock formation created from layers of sediment that were once at the bottom of the sea and shaped over years by wind. The cliffs reach about 60 meters high and extend approximately 400 meters. They are vertical at a 90-degree angle. Seen from a distance, Tsagaan Suvarga resembles the ruins of ancient buildings. Visitors will feel a sense of tranquility and joy as if transported back to ancient times while immersed in the colorful landscape. • Stay at a ger camp near Tsagaan Suvarga. • Have dinner. • Watch the sunset over the Gobi desert. • Have a campfire. • Relax.

TSAGAAN SUVARGA – BAGA GAZAR STONE /532 km/
• Watch the sunrise in the Gobi region. • Have breakfast. • Depart towards Mandalgovi city. • Visit a local souvenir shop. • Have lunch at a restaurant. • Baga Gazar Stone, a granite rock formation that appears stacked on shelves, is unique and remarkable, recognized as one of the Seven Wonders of the province. Its highest peak is Takhligin Canyon, which rises 1768 meters above sea level, home to argali sheep grazing on the steep cliffs. There are over 200 ancient graves, burial mounds, petroglyphs, and monuments from various historical periods in this area. • Head back to Ulaanbaatar. • Drop off at the designated place.
