About this tour
Join a nomadic family to discover their life and go for a 2-days horseback riding to discover Tövhön Hiid monastery!
Day 1, you take the bus from Ulaanbaatar to join the family and spend a first night in a traditional ger.
Day 2, discover the nomadic life and do a first horsebcak riding to meet your horse.
Day 3 and 4 : 2-days horseback riding to join the monastery. You sleep in a small ger camp nearby before coming back to the family's camp the next day.
Day 5 : you spend a last full day with the family and enjoy the place near the river. (Option: do a horesback around the camp)
Day 6: In the morning, the family drive you back to Khujirt to take back the bus for Ulaanbaatar

Day 1: Join the family with public bus from UB Day 2: Day in the family and first horseback riding Day 3 & 4: Horsebcak riding to join Tövhön Hiid monastery. Night a small ger camp nearby Day 5: Last full day in the family Day 6: go back to UB with public bus
What’s included
- Included: You will be lead by the older brother of the family during this horseback hiking.
- Included: The price include all the meals, nights accomodations, entry to the monastery and transportation between Khujirt and the family's camp.
- Included: You will go only with horses to the monastery so you leave with a small backpack and saddles bags.
- Included: The horse hiking can started one day later due to weather or can be unfortunately canceled. In this case, we will try to go there by car instead.
- Included: This is an example of stay but it can be change depends of your preferences!
