Sainshand

Sainshand is the capital of Dornogovi Province in Mongolia. It is located in the eastern Gobi desert steppe, on the Trans-Mongolian Railway.  The population is 21,200. It is 463 km from Ulaanbaatar. 234.6 hectares of land. The city of Sainshand borders Ulaanbadrakh, Khuvsgul, Saikhandulaan, Airag, Altanshiree and Urgun soums.
